Indian Medical Association to Launch School Health Brigade for Students

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Thiruvananthapuram chapter, in collaboration with the Education and Health departments, will establish a 'School Health Brigade'. This initiative aims to promote healthy habits among students through lessons on first aid, healthy lifestyles, and life skills. Initially, 500 students from the city's 35,000 high school students will receive training. The announcement was made during a function where new office-bearers of the IMA Thiruvananthapuram chapter assumed their positions.
