US Denies Abbas Visa For UN Address

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas addressed the UN General Assembly via prerecorded remarks from Ramallah after the US denied him and other officials visas. This marks the second consecutive year the US has denied visas for the UN gathering. Abbas highlighted the critical challenges facing Palestinians due to the ongoing occupation and the Gaza war. He stated Israel has targeted essential life necessities.

फ़िलिस्तीनी राष्ट्रपति महमूद अब्बास ने रामल्ला से रिकॉर्डेड वीडियो संदेश के ज़रिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा को संबोधित किया। अमेरिका ने उन्हें और अन्य अधिकारियों को वीज़ा देने से मना कर दिया था। लगातार दूसरे साल अमेरिका ने यूएन की बैठक के लिए वीज़ा नहीं दिया। अब्बास ने कब्जे और गाजा युद्ध के कारण फ़िलिस्तीनियों के सामने आ रही गंभीर समस्याओं पर ज़ोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि इसराइल ने जीवन की ज़रूरी चीज़ों को निशाना बनाया है।
