Sohum Shah has revealed why Alia Bhatt agreed to star in the upcoming horror film 'Tumbbad 2'. The actress reportedly signed on after just two meetings with the filmmakers. Shah explained that Bhatt was impressed by the script's nuances and trusted the story despite the filmmakers not being established names. She was already familiar with the original 'Tumbbad' and appreciated its deeper narrative beyond just horror. The sequel is expected to release in December 2027.
