दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने नेशनल स्पोर्ट्स फेडरेशन (NSF) के दर्जे को लेकर चल रहे विवाद में ऑल इंडिया कैरम फेडरेशन (AICF) को बड़ी राहत दी है। एक डिवीजन बेंच ने पिछले उस आदेश को रद्द कर दिया था जिसने AICF को अपने नाम में 'इंडिया' का इस्तेमाल करने से रोका था। कोर्ट ने पाया कि यूनियन स्पोर्ट्स मिनिस्ट्री ने अपना आदेश जारी करते समय स्पोर्ट्स कोड में बताए गए प्रक्रियाओं का पालन नहीं किया था। इस फैसले से AICF राष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप और अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिताओं पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकेगी, हालांकि मंत्रालय के साथ कानूनी लड़ाई जारी है।
