Engineering students must make informed career choices and continuously upgrade their skills, according to V.M. Manikandan, Associate Professor at SRM University-A.P. He spoke at a seminar in Vijayawada, outlining three pathways: employment, higher studies, or entrepreneurship. Manikandan detailed sought-after skills for private sector jobs, including programming and AI, and highlighted public sector opportunities. He also discussed higher education options and the importance of the GATE exam for further studies and PSU recruitment. The seminar emphasized identifying problems and developing skills for entrepreneurial ventures.

एसआरएम यूनिवर्सिटी-ए.पी. के एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर वी.एम. मणिकांतन के अनुसार, इंजीनियरिंग छात्रों को सोच-समझकर करियर का चुनाव करना चाहिए और लगातार अपने कौशल को बेहतर बनाना चाहिए। उन्होंने विजयवाड़ा में एक सेमिनार में तीन रास्ते बताए: नौकरी, उच्च शिक्षा या उद्यमिता। मणिकांतन ने निजी क्षेत्र की नौकरियों के लिए प्रोग्रामिंग और एआई जैसे मांग वाले कौशलों का विस्तार से वर्णन किया और सरकारी क्षेत्र के अवसरों पर भी प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने उच्च शिक्षा के विकल्पों और आगे की पढ़ाई व पीएसयू भर्ती के लिए गेट (GATE) परीक्षा के महत्व पर भी चर्चा की। सेमिनार में समस्याओं की पहचान करने और उद्यमी पहलों के लिए कौशल विकसित करने पर जोर दिया गया।
