German companies are actively exploring significant investment opportunities in India across various sectors, including precision engineering, aerospace, defence, shipbuilding, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and research and development. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted this growing business interest, noting that European firms are seeking to diversify manufacturing and supply chains. He mentioned that German companies have publicly announced investments worth $7.4 billion in India, with some already materializing.
