Aryna Sabalenka stated she feels "fresh" ahead of her first tournament since losing the world number one ranking. The four-time Grand Slam winner held the top spot for 99 weeks before being surpassed by Elena Rybakina. Sabalenka has not secured a title since March and will finish the year without a major for the first time since 2022. She begins her campaign at the China Open in Beijing, where she faces either Anna Bondar or Renata Zarazua.
