The incident occurred around 2 am on NH 66 in Malappuram, causing the car's front portion to be crushed. Varier and his colleagues, along with families in two other cars involved, escaped unhurt. He reassured the public via Facebook that everyone was safe and thanked the police for their swift action in restoring traffic.
