Mumbai secured their fourth consecutive Ranji Trophy win by defeating Railways by 106 runs. Youngster Musheer Khan was instrumental in turning the match on its head with crucial wickets on the final day. Railways, at one point, seemed poised to draw the match or even achieve a significant upset after a strong partnership. However, Khan's bowling broke a key 167-run stand and he later took another vital wicket, leading to a collapse where Railways lost five wickets for just 15 runs.
