Rahul Gandhi Detained After Leading Protest March To Election Commission

Opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, were detained by Delhi Police evening after protesting outside the Election Commission. They were demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the INDIA alliance's SIR system. The protest began in the morning with a march from Akashvani Bhavan, which was blocked by police. Several leaders, including Mahua Moitra and Derek O'Brien, were initially taken into custody before Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were also detained and taken to Kingsway Camp.
