DMK Legal Wing Seeks Probe Into Alleged ₹5 Crore Bribery Attempt

The DMK legal wing has petitioned the Director of DVAC to investigate an alleged ₹5 crore bribery attempt made to school education minister A Rajmohan for the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram president's post. Rajmohan claimed he rejected the bribe, stating the position was given to folk singer Pushpavanam Kuppusamy. Senior leaders from AIADMK, CPM, and AMMK have also demanded a probe and disclosure of the briber's identity. The DMK petition highlights that attempting to bribe a public servant is an offense under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

DMK के लीगल विंग ने DVAC के डायरेक्टर से तमिलनाडु एयल इसाई नटका मंड्रम के अध्यक्ष पद के लिए ₹5 करोड़ की कथित रिश्वतखोरी के प्रयास की जांच करने की याचिका दायर की है। राजमोहन ने दावा किया कि उन्होंने रिश्वत ठुकरा दी थी, यह बताते हुए कि यह पद लोक गायक पुष्पवनम कुप्पुसामी को दिया गया था। AIADMK, CPM और AMMK के वरिष्ठ नेताओं ने भी जांच और रिश्वत देने वाले की पहचान उजागर करने की मांग की है। DMK की याचिका में कहा गया है कि किसी लोक सेवक को रिश्वत देने का प्रयास भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत एक अपराध है।
