Diljit Dosanjh's Delhi Concert Gets Police Nod Amid Fresh Threats

Times of India · entertainment

Delhi Police have granted permission for Diljit Dosanjh's concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, reversing an earlier denial due to security concerns. The clearance came after organizers agreed to enhance crowd management, deploy additional staff, and coordinate closely with the police. Organizers are instructed to increase their personnel by approximately 1,500 and encourage attendees to use the metro to mitigate traffic issues. This decision follows fresh threat emails received by several Delhi schools and a similar threat in Mumbai, where the singer is scheduled to perform later.
