Delhi Police have secured an Interpol Red Corner Notice against Russian national Viktoriia Basu, who allegedly fled India with her minor son nearly a year ago. This action follows a Supreme Court-mandated shared custody arrangement. Extradition proceedings have been initiated through Russian authorities, with an extradition request forwarded to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Police are also investigating an alleged associate suspected of aiding Basu's escape. The case stems from a custody dispute between Basu and her estranged husband, Saikat Basu.
