Pronto Founder's Provision Labs Acquires Hardware Startup Basilisk Industries

Anjali Sardana's physical AI venture, Provision Labs, has acquired Mumbai-based hardware startup Basilisk Industries for an undisclosed sum. Basilisk founder Shourya Watwani will now lead Provision's hardware development and work on its in-house post-processing models. Basilisk, founded in 2023, specializes in perception technologies that help machines interpret their surroundings. Watwani's team has already developed a 3D hand-tracking model and redesigned Provision's perception hardware. Provision is also expanding its engineering and research teams globally.

अंजलि सरदाना के फिजिकल AI वेंचर, प्रोविज़न लैब्स ने मुंबई स्थित हार्डवेयर स्टार्टअप बेसिलिस्क इंडस्ट्रीज का अज्ञात राशि में अधिग्रहण कर लिया है। बेसिलिस्क के संस्थापक शौर्य वाटवानी अब प्रोविज़न के हार्डवेयर डेवलपमेंट का नेतृत्व करेंगे और इसके इन-हाउस पोस्ट-प्रोसेसिंग मॉडल पर काम करेंगे। 2023 में स्थापित बेसिलिस्क, परसेप्शन टेक्नोलॉजी में माहिर है जो मशीनों को अपने आसपास की चीजों को समझने में मदद करती है। वाटवानी की टीम ने पहले ही एक 3D हैंड-ट्रैकिंग मॉडल विकसित किया है और प्रोविज़न के परसेप्शन हार्डवेयर को फिर से डिजाइन किया है। प्रोविज़न अपनी इंजीनियरिंग और रिसर्च टीमों का विश्व स्तर पर विस्तार भी कर रही है।
