Banyan Tree Collapses, Killing Two Schoolgirls

Two schoolgirls, Ananya Kumari (13) and Sachhani Kumari (14), died tragically when a nearly 50-year-old banyan tree collapsed on them at a government school in Bihar's Samastipur district. Another student sustained serious injuries in the incident. Preliminary reports suggest continuous rainfall and soil erosion weakened the tree's roots. The girls were near a hand pump when the tree fell, leaving them with no chance to escape. Authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.

बिहार के समस्तीपुर जिले में एक सरकारी स्कूल में 50 साल पुराना बरगद का पेड़ गिरने से 13 साल की अनन्या कुमारी और 14 साल की सछानी कुमारी की दुखद मौत हो गई। एक और छात्रा गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। लगातार बारिश और मिट्टी के कटाव से पेड़ की जड़ें कमजोर हो गई थीं। लड़कियां हैंडपंप के पास खड़ी थीं, तभी पेड़ गिरा। शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया है।
