Chikkamagaluru Prepares For Deviramma Hill Festival With Safety Measures

The Chikkamagaluru district administration is making extensive arrangements for the annual Deviramma hill festival, scheduled for November 7 and 8. Thousands of devotees are expected to climb the steep and potentially risky hill to seek blessings from the goddess, believed to protect the Malnad region. Deputy Commissioner Bhanwar Singh Meena personally inspected the hill and reviewed safety protocols with various departments. New ropes have been installed on dangerous stretches, and a mock drill was conducted.

चिक्कमगलुरु जिला प्रशासन 7 और 8 नवंबर को होने वाले वार्षिक देविरम्मा पहाड़ी उत्सव के लिए व्यापक व्यवस्था कर रहा है। हजारों भक्तों से इस खड़ी और संभावित रूप से जोखिम भरी पहाड़ी पर चढ़कर देवी का आशीर्वाद लेने की उम्मीद है, जिनके बारे में माना जाता है कि वे मलनाड क्षेत्र की रक्षा करती हैं। उपायुक्त भंवर सिंह मीणा ने व्यक्तिगत रूप से पहाड़ी का निरीक्षण किया और विभिन्न विभागों के साथ सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल की समीक्षा की। खतरनाक हिस्सों पर नई रस्सियाँ लगाई गई हैं और एक मॉक ड्रिल आयोजित की गई थी।
