हवेरी के सांसद बसवराज बोम्मई ने मुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार से कथित स्टिंग ऑपरेशन की गहन जांच का आदेश देने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर इस मामले की जांच नहीं हुई तो शक पैदा होगा। बोम्मई ने कहा कि सीएम ने खुद इस पर बात शुरू की थी और उन्हें सच्चाई सामने लानी चाहिए। उन्होंने सवाल उठाया कि अगर वह चुप रहे तो उनके कैबिनेट सहयोगियों पर क्या असर पड़ेगा। उन्होंने फर्जी खबरें फैलाने के पीछे एक बड़ी साजिश का भी आरोप लगाया और जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की मांग की।
