KSRTC Double-Decker Buses See Revenue Surge During Puja Rush in Idukki

Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's double-decker bus service in Idukki experienced a significant revenue increase during the Puja holidays. Between October 17 and 21, 1,191 tourists travelled on the two buses operating the Munnar–Anayirankal route, generating over ₹4 lakh in just five days. The KSRTC introduced the "Royal View" service in February 2025 and added a second bus in January 2026 due to high demand.

केरल स्टेट रोड ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन की इडुक्की में डबल-डेकर बस सेवा ने पूजा की छुट्टियों के दौरान कमाई में ज़बरदस्त बढ़ोतरी देखी। 17 से 21 अक्टूबर के बीच, मुन्नार-अनायिरंकल रूट पर चल रही दो बसों में 1,191 पर्यटकों ने सफ़र किया, जिससे सिर्फ़ पाँच दिनों में ₹4 लाख से ज़्यादा की कमाई हुई। KSRTC ने "Royal View" सेवा फरवरी 2025 में शुरू की थी और ज़्यादा मांग के कारण जनवरी 2026 में दूसरी बस जोड़ी थी।
