विदेशों में तैनात रक्षा अताशे अब भाषा प्रवीणता की अनिवार्य परीक्षा देंगे। यह भारत की बढ़ती रक्षा कूटनीति और रक्षा सहयोग बढ़ाने, निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने तथा सैन्य मिशनों के ज़रिए स्वदेशी रक्षा उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देने के लक्ष्य के अनुरूप है। इससे अंतरराष्ट्रीय रक्षा वार्ताओं में प्रभावी संचार सुनिश्चित होगा और द्विपक्षीय संबंध मज़बूत होंगे।
