Mumbai Airport to Cut Flights to 14 International Destinations for Years

Mumbai airport operator has informed airlines that it cannot accommodate flights to 14 international destinations for the summer 2027 schedule and subsequent seasons. Airlines operating to Bahrain, Dammam, Dhaka, Doha, and others will need to temporarily move their flights out of Terminal 2. Affected airlines face the option of shifting operations to the Navi Mumbai airport or suspending them. This move is due to Terminal 2's reduced capacity, with historic slots to be restored after expansion completion, expected by March 2029.
