Moderate Rain Expected As Dry Spell Ends

A week-long dry spell across North India is set to end with moderate rainfall expected in several regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted scattered showers in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh starting today. This rainfall is crucial for the ongoing Kharif crops, which have been adversely affected by the dry conditions.

उत्तर भारत में एक हफ़्ते से चल रहा सूखा अब ख़त्म होने वाला है। मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने आज से पंजाब, हरियाणा, राजस्थान और उत्तर प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश की भविष्यवाणी की है। यह बारिश खरीफ की फसलों के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है, जो सूखे की वजह से पहले ही काफ़ी प्रभावित हो चुकी हैं।
