Waqar Younis Praises Bumrah's White-Ball Prowess, Calls for More in Tests

Former Pakistan captain Waqar Younis has lauded Jasprit Bumrah as the premier white-ball bowler in modern cricket, highlighting his consistent impact in crucial moments. However, Younis believes Bumrah still has significant ground to cover in Test cricket due to limited appearances. Despite Bumrah's impressive Test record of 234 wickets in 52 matches, Younis feels other fast bowlers have played more red-ball cricket. Younis recalled Bumrah's match-winning spell against Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup as an example of his high-pressure effectiveness.
