India's Deepika Sehrawat made history by scoring eight goals in a single match as the Indian women's hockey team thrashed Uzbekistan 19-0 in their opening Asian Games Pool B game. Sehrawat's eight goals set a new record for the most goals by an individual in an Asian Games women's hockey match. Other Indian scorers included Lalremsiami, Ishika, Baljeet Kaur, Neha, Navneet Kaur, Lalthantluangi, and Sakshi Rana. India will play Indonesia next.
