Kolkata Court Orders Mahua Moitra to Delete "Vote Chor" X-Posts Against Chief Secretary

A Kolkata court has ordered Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra to delete two X posts accusing West Bengal chief secretary Manoj Kumar Agarwal of being a "vote chor" within 24 hours. The court also restrained her from making similar defamatory statements against him. Agarwal had approached the court after Moitra's posts on October 3 and October 6, which alleged illegal disenfranchisement of voters. Moitra stated she would file an application to reinforce her right to call out alleged wrongdoing.

कोलकाता की एक अदालत ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद महुआ मोइत्रा को 24 घंटे के अंदर पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्य सचिव मनोज कुमार अग्रवाल पर 'वोट चोर' का आरोप लगाने वाले दो एक्स पोस्ट हटाने का आदेश दिया है। अदालत ने उन्हें उनके खिलाफ इसी तरह के अपमानजनक बयान देने से भी रोका। मोइत्रा की 3 अक्टूबर और 6 अक्टूबर की पोस्ट के बाद अग्रवाल अदालत पहुंचे थे, जिसमें मतदाताओं के अवैध रूप से मताधिकार छीनने का आरोप लगाया गया था। मोइत्रा ने कहा कि वह कथित गलत कामों को उजागर करने के अपने अधिकार को मजबूत करने के लिए एक आवेदन दायर करेंगी।
