Escorts Kubota Ltd has reported a 10 per cent year-on-year decline in total tractor sales for October, selling 16,921 units compared to 18,798 units in the previous year. Domestic tractor sales saw a steeper fall of 10.9 per cent. However, the company's exports increased by 35.7 per cent to 509 units during the same period. The company cited a high base, shifting festive timings, and monsoon disruptions as factors impacting sales, with elevated input costs potentially moderating future demand.
