CJP Leaders Released on Rs 50k Bond With No Jantar Mantar Protest Conditions

Two Cockroach Janata Party leaders, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das, have been released after seven days in custody. They were arrested on October 13 for protesting at Jantar Mantar and obstructing police. The special executive magistrate ordered their release upon furnishing personal and surety bonds of Rs 50,000 each. The leaders provided written undertakings not to breach peace and to avoid protests at Jantar Mantar while it remains de-notified. They also assured that any future protests would be conducted within constitutional limits.

दो कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी के नेताओं, आशुतोष रांका और सौरभ दास, सात दिन की हिरासत के बाद रिहा कर दिए गए हैं। उन्हें 13 अक्टूबर को जंतर मंतर पर विरोध करने और पुलिस को बाधित करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। विशेष कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट ने प्रत्येक को 50,000 रुपये के व्यक्तिगत और जमानत बांड भरने पर उनकी रिहाई का आदेश दिया। नेताओं ने शांति भंग न करने और जब तक जंतर मंतर को डी-नोटिफाई किया गया है, तब तक वहां विरोध से बचने का लिखित आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने यह भी आश्वासन दिया कि भविष्य में कोई भी विरोध संवैधानिक सीमाओं के भीतर किया जाएगा।
