Keralam CM Announces Separate Housing Scheme for SC/ST Families, Land for Landless

Keralam Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan announced a new housing scheme specifically for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities, separate from the existing Life Mission. This initiative aims to eliminate delays in housing provision and ensure land is given to all landless families within these communities. An additional ₹500 crore has been allocated in the budget for welfare schemes, with strict instructions to prevent delays in student grants and scholarships. The government is also planning to establish the world's first tribal university in Wayanad.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीसन ने मौजूदा लाइफ मिशन से अलग, अनुसूचित जाति (एससी) और अनुसूचित जनजाति (एसटी) समुदायों के लिए एक नई आवास योजना की घोषणा की है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य आवास प्रदान करने में देरी को खत्म करना और इन समुदायों के सभी भूमिहीन परिवारों को जमीन सुनिश्चित करना है। छात्रवृत्ति और अनुदान में देरी को रोकने के सख्त निर्देशों के साथ कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के लिए बजट में ₹500 करोड़ अतिरिक्त आवंटित किए गए हैं। सरकार वायनाड में दुनिया का पहला आदिवासी विश्वविद्यालय स्थापित करने की भी योजना बना रही है।
