WBSSC Releases Revised Interview List for Teachers

WBSSC has released a revised interview list for assistant teacher recruitment for Classes 11 and 12, cancelling the previous list. This decision follows the government's reduction of the OBC quota from 17% to 7%. The revised list now includes 20,244 candidates, with over 3,000 candidates removed and fresh names added. All previous counseling processes based on the old panel are cancelled, though candidates who have already interviewed need not reappear. The Supreme Court has extended the recruitment deadline to May 31, 2027.
