Tom Cruise stars as Diggory Rockwall, a powerful Texas oil tycoon in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's film 'Digger'. Unlike his usual action-hero roles, Cruise portrays a character who causes an environmental catastrophe in Greenland through his drilling project. The film explores Diggory's ego and his belief that he can solve any problem with wealth and influence. Cruise's performance leans into caricature, highlighting the character's childlike confidence and desire to be the hero of his own created crisis.
