Man Killed By Boulders, Kedarnath Yatra Suspended

A 65-year-old man, Madan Mohan Tiwari, was killed by falling boulders near the Cheerbasa Helipad in Kedarnath on Sunday. The incident occurred as the pilgrimage was temporarily suspended due to heavy rainfall and landslides. Officials have advised travellers to halt at Sonprayag and Gaurikund, and those returning to stop at Jangalchatti. Pilgrim movement will only resume after weather conditions improve and the routes are cleared for safety.

केदारनाथ के पास चीरबासा हेलीपैड के पास रविवार को 65 साल के मदन मोहन तिवारी की गिरते पत्थरों की चपेट में आने से मौत हो गई। भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन के कारण यात्रा रोकी गई थी। अधिकारियों ने यात्रियों को सोनप्रयाग और गौरीकुंड में रुकने को कहा है। मौसम ठीक होने और रास्ते साफ होने के बाद ही यात्रा फिर से शुरू होगी।
