DoorDash has agreed to a $131.5 million settlement with New York City for underpaying over 264,000 delivery workers. The settlement includes nearly $115 million for workers, a $16.7 million penalty, and three years of city monitoring. Mayor Zohran Mamdani stated the company used "greedy algorithms" and failed to comply with the city's minimum-pay law. DoorDash admitted it "screwed up" due to technical errors, which have since been corrected.
