Justices Manoj Mishra and Manmohan questioned the differing floodplain definitions between the Ganga rejuvenation order and the Delhi Master Plan 2041, warning of potential litigation. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र की यमुना सफाई योजना को लेकर चिंता जताई है। कोर्ट ने इसके बाढ़ के मैदान की अनसुलझी परिभाषा और निवासियों के लिए पुनर्वास योजना की अनुपस्थिति पर प्रकाश डाला। जस्टिस मनोज मिश्रा और मनमोहन ने गंगा कायाकल्प आदेश और दिल्ली मास्टर प्लान 2041 के बीच बाढ़ के मैदान की अलग-अलग परिभाषाओं पर सवाल उठाए और संभावित मुकदमेबाजी की चेतावनी दी। अदालत ने अनधिकृत ढांचों के लिए स्थानांतरण योजना की कमी को भी नोट किया और सीवेज उपचार में भारी अंतर को पाटने के बारे में संदेह व्यक्त किया।
