YEIDA to Hire Private Firm for Quality Audits of Infrastructure Projects

YEIDA plans to appoint an independent agency to conduct third-party quality audits of its civic and infrastructure projects. This agency will perform regular, surprise, and stage-wise inspections to ensure construction materials, workmanship, and compliance meet approved specifications. The initiative aims to identify defects early, prevent substandard work, and reduce costly rework, especially as construction activity is expected to accelerate with the upcoming international operations at Noida International Airport. The authority has issued a request for proposal, with bids due.
