झारखंड में मतदाता सूची का विशेष सघन संशोधन अपने अंतिम चरण में पहुँच गया है। 11 लाख से ज़्यादा आवेदन नाम शामिल कराने, हटाने या सुधारने के लिए आए हैं। दावों और आपत्तियों के लिए बुधवार को खिड़की बंद हो गई, और अब अधिकारी अंतिम सूची प्रकाशित करने से पहले इन आवेदनों पर काम कर रहे हैं। लगभग 4.5 लाख आवेदन सुधार के लिए थे, जो आगे काफी काम होने का संकेत देते हैं।
