Aisa Slams Karnataka Minister Over False Promises on Bengaluru Protests

The All India Students’ Association (Aisa) has criticised Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge for allegedly making false assurances regarding the right to peaceful protests. Aisa members were detained during a protest at Bengaluru's Town Hall on Saturday. The organisation stated that police arbitrarily granted permissions for some demonstrations while denying others, contradicting the minister's earlier social media post promising no disruption to peaceful protests. Around 40 Aisa members were detained, with police citing denial of permission for their protest against the special intensive revision process.

ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स' एसोसिएशन (Aisa) ने कर्नाटक के गृह मंत्री प्रियांक खरगे की शांतिपूर्ण विरोध के अधिकार को लेकर झूठे आश्वासन देने के कथित आरोप में आलोचना की है। शनिवार को बेंगलुरु के टाउन हॉल में विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान Aisa के सदस्यों को हिरासत में लिया गया था। संगठन ने कहा कि पुलिस ने कुछ प्रदर्शनों की अनुमति मनमाने ढंग से दी, जबकि अन्य को मना कर दिया, जो मंत्री के शांतिपूर्ण विरोध में कोई बाधा न आने के पहले के सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट के विपरीत था। लगभग 40 Aisa सदस्यों को हिरासत में लिया गया था, पुलिस ने विशेष गहन संशोधन प्रक्रिया के खिलाफ उनके विरोध की अनुमति से इनकार करने का हवाला दिया।
