MCD surveys 1,252 PG buildings post-tragedy

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) surveyed 1,252 paying guest (PG) buildings between September 7 and 9. This safety assessment drive was initiated following the Satya Niketan building collapse. Officials reported that three of these surveyed buildings were found to be dangerous. Additionally, nine other buildings require major repairs. The MCD's action aims to prevent future tragedies by ensuring building safety standards are met.

दिल्ली नगर निगम (MCD) ने 7 से 9 सितंबर के बीच 1,252 पेइंग गेस्ट (PG) इमारतों का सर्वे किया। सत्य निकेतन बिल्डिंग गिरने की घटना के बाद यह सुरक्षा जांच शुरू की गई थी। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि सर्वे की गई तीन इमारतें खतरनाक पाई गईं। इसके अलावा, नौ अन्य इमारतों को बड़े मरम्मत की ज़रूरत है। MCD का यह कदम इमारतों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित कर भविष्य की दुर्घटनाओं को रोकना है।
