African Swine Fever Control Measures Ordered in Vizianagaram District

The Andhra Pradesh government has directed Vizianagaram district officials to implement measures to control African Swine Fever (ASF) among pigs. Special Chief Secretary B. Rajasekhar issued orders through G.O. No. 350, mandating the Animal Husbandry department to contain the disease and prevent its spread. A one-kilometre radius around affected areas is to be declared a 'Controlled Area' with restricted entry. Vizianagaram Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy has instructed officials to strictly enforce these orders to protect both animal and human health from this dangerous disease.

आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने विजयनगरम जिले के अधिकारियों को सूअरों में अफ्रीकी स्वाइन फ्लू (ASF) को नियंत्रित करने के उपाय लागू करने का निर्देश दिया है। विशेष मुख्य सचिव बी. राजशेखर ने जी.ओ. नंबर 350 के माध्यम से आदेश जारी किए, जिसमें पशुपालन विभाग को बीमारी को रोकने और इसके प्रसार को रोकने का आदेश दिया गया है। प्रभावित क्षेत्रों के एक किलोमीटर के दायरे को 'नियंत्रित क्षेत्र' घोषित किया जाएगा और प्रवेश प्रतिबंधित होगा। विजयनगरम कलेक्टर एस. रामसुंदर रेड्डी ने अधिकारियों को इस खतरनाक बीमारी से पशुओं और मानव स्वास्थ्य दोनों की रक्षा के लिए इन आदेशों को सख्ती से लागू करने का निर्देश दिया है।
