Car Plunges Into Gorge Near Devprayag; Two Dead, Three Injured

A car carrying five occupants veered off the road and plunged approximately 150 metres into a gorge near Devprayag in Tehri Garhwal district on Thursday morning. Two people, including a 72-year-old woman named Satyeshwari Devi and the driver Anil, were killed in the accident. Three other passengers sustained injuries and were rescued by locals and police before SDRF teams arrived. The injured were transported to a hospital via ambulance. SDRF teams later retrieved the bodies from the wreckage, navigating difficult terrain to bring them to Devprayag for formalities.

देवप्रयाग के पास खाई में गिरी कार दो की मौत, तीन घायल

गुरुवार सुबह टिहरी गढ़वाल जिले में देवप्रयाग के पास एक कार सड़क से लगभग 150 मीटर नीचे खाई में गिर गई। इस कार में पांच लोग सवार थे। हादसे में 72 वर्षीय सत्येश्वरी देवी और ड्राइवर अनिल सहित दो लोगों की मौत हो गई। तीन अन्य यात्री घायल हो गए, जिन्हें स्थानीय लोगों और पुलिस ने SDRF टीमों के आने से पहले बचा लिया। घायलों को एम्बुलेंस से अस्पताल ले जाया गया। बाद में SDRF टीमों ने मुश्किल इलाके से शवों को निकाला और औपचारिकता के लिए देवप्रयाग लाया।
