US stock markets opened lower on Thursday, with growth stocks facing renewed pressure. Earnings reports from tech giants Tesla and Meta failed to alleviate concerns regarding the artificial intelligence outlook. Simultaneously, a rebound in oil prices contributed to market anxieties. The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a slight decline of 67.7 points, or 0.13%, to 52,788.41 at the opening bell. The S&P 500 dropped 62.6 points, or 0.81%, to 7,694.62, while the Nasdaq Composite experienced a more significant fall of 394.5 points, or 1.48%, to 26,308.407.
