Kerala HC Dismisses Plea To Stay Abhimanyu Murder Trial

The Kerala High Court has dismissed a plea by the 24th and 25th accused in the Abhimanyu murder case seeking to stay the trial. The accused, arrested in 2018, argued that the final investigation report had not yet been filed. The court noted that the petitioners were accused of aiding the primary accused, not direct involvement in the 2018 stabbing death of SFI student leader Abhimanyu.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने अभिमन्यु हत्या मामले में 24वें और 25वें आरोपी द्वारा ट्रायल पर रोक लगाने की मांग वाली याचिका खारिज कर दी है। 2018 में गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों ने दलील दी थी कि अंतिम जांच रिपोर्ट अभी तक दायर नहीं की गई है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि याचिकाकर्ताओं पर मुख्य आरोपियों की मदद करने का आरोप है, न कि SFI छात्र नेता अभिमन्यु की 2018 में हुई चाकू मारकर हत्या में सीधे तौर पर शामिल होने का।
