Nine Held in UP for Running Fake Disability Certificate Racket

Delhi Police have arrested nine individuals, including a disability board member and a senior malaria inspector from Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly operating an interstate network that forged disability certificates. The racket used AI tools to alter Aadhaar cards and exploit the UDID system to generate fake certificates for students seeking admission to undergraduate courses under the Persons with Disabilities quota. The certificates were reportedly sold for Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 each. Investigations revealed the involvement of education consultants and contractual staff working on the UDID portal.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने उत्तर प्रदेश के एक दिव्यांग बोर्ड सदस्य और एक वरिष्ठ मलेरिया निरीक्षक सहित नौ लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। इन पर कथित तौर पर एक अंतरराज्यीय नेटवर्क चलाने का आरोप है जो दिव्यांग प्रमाण पत्र बनाते थे। यह रैकेट AI टूल्स का इस्तेमाल करके आधार कार्ड में बदलाव करता था और UDID सिस्टम का दुरुपयोग करके दिव्यांग कोटे के तहत स्नातक पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश चाहने वाले छात्रों के लिए फर्जी प्रमाण पत्र बनाता था। ये प्रमाण पत्र कथित तौर पर 20,000 रुपये से 30,000 रुपये में बेचे जाते थे। जांच में शिक्षा सलाहकारों और UDID पोर्टल पर काम करने वाले संविदा कर्मचारियों की संलिप्तता का पता चला है।
