Kolkata Municipal Corporation to Host Camps Bringing Govt Services to Citizens' Doorsteps

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is organizing 157 camps across the city to provide various government services directly to citizens. These camps, starting Friday, will offer access to schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, and student credit cards, alongside scholarships and pension services. Citizens can also address RERA-related matters and access free health screenings for malaria, dengue, and TB. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between the government and citizens, ensuring easier access to welfare schemes and services.

कोलकाता नगर निगम (KMC) शहर भर में 157 कैंप आयोजित कर रहा है ताकि नागरिकों को सीधे सरकारी सेवाएं प्रदान की जा सकें। शुक्रवार से शुरू होने वाले इन कैंपों में प्रधानमंत्री जन धन योजना, पीएम सुरक्षा बीमा योजना और छात्र क्रेडिट कार्ड जैसी योजनाओं के साथ-साथ छात्रवृत्ति और पेंशन सेवाओं तक पहुंच मिलेगी। नागरिक RERA से संबंधित मामलों का समाधान भी कर सकते हैं और मलेरिया, डेंगू और टीबी के लिए मुफ्त स्वास्थ्य जांच का लाभ उठा सकते हैं। इस पहल का उद्देश्य सरकार और नागरिकों के बीच की खाई को पाटना है, जिससे कल्याणकारी योजनाओं और सेवाओं तक आसान पहुंच सुनिश्चित हो सके।
