Calicut University to Honour Three on October 6

The University of Calicut will confer honorary doctorates on filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad, industrialist P.K. Ahmed, and scientist Eluvathingal Davis Jemmis on October 6. Anthikad and Ahmed will receive D.Litt. degrees, while Dr. Jemmis will be awarded a D.Sc. The ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the university's open auditorium. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Higher Education Minister Roji M. John are expected to attend the event, highlighting the significance of the honorees' contributions.
