Actor Imran Khan to challenge deportation notice in Bombay High Court

His lawyer stated that OCI cardholders are permitted to participate in protests, challenging the basis of the notice. Khan, reportedly holding a US passport, was detained by Mumbai Police last week for protesting at August Kranti Maidan. Action was initiated against him under the Immigration Act for allegedly participating in a protest despite not being an Indian citizen.
