New Delhi Roads Ease Commute, Shift Traffic Patterns

The Mayur Vihar-Sarai Kale Khan elevated road and the Delhi-Mumbai Link Expressway have opened, aiming to significantly alter Delhi-NCR's traffic flow. These new routes are expected to provide relief from congestion for commuters traveling between East Delhi, Noida, and South/Central Delhi, potentially reducing travel times to areas like AIIMS. While intended to ease jams on roads like NH-24 and Ring Road, the convergence of traffic at Sarai Kale Khan may create new bottlenecks. The DND-Jaitpur link is also expected to divert some traffic from Kalindi Kunj.

नई दिल्ली की सड़कें सुगम, बदले यातायात के पैटर्न

मयूर विहार-सराय काले खां एलिवेटेड रोड और दिल्ली-मुंबई लिंक एक्सप्रेसवे के खुलने से दिल्ली-एनसीआर के यातायात प्रवाह में बड़ा बदलाव आने की उम्मीद है। इन नए मार्गों से पूर्वी दिल्ली, नोएडा और दक्षिण/मध्य दिल्ली के बीच यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों को जाम से राहत मिलने की उम्मीद है, जिससे AIIMS जैसे क्षेत्रों तक यात्रा का समय कम हो सकता है। जहाँ इनका उद्देश्य NH-24 और रिंग रोड जैसे सड़कों पर जाम को कम करना है, वहीं सराय काले खां में यातायात के अभिसरण से नए अड़चनें पैदा हो सकती हैं। DND-जैतपुर लिंक से कालिंदी कुंज से कुछ यातायात को मोड़ने की भी उम्मीद है।
