The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has reached a settlement with the Trump administration to close 18 federal investigations into alleged race discrimination and antisemitism. The agreement, effective until 2028, requires mandatory antisemitism training for students, faculty, and staff, and prohibits face coverings during protests. UNC will appoint an administrator to address discrimination and report on complaints quarterly. The university has not admitted wrongdoing or liability, and no monetary payment is required. This settlement follows the Supreme Court's decision ending affirmative action in college admissions.
