A mother and her ailing daughter were killed and four others injured when a speeding lorry collided with their ambulance in Telangana's Nirmal district. The accident occurred late on Thursday night at Kadthal Y-junction. The deceased, identified as 50-year-old Paru Bhai and her 22-year-old daughter Saraswathi, were en route to Hyderabad for treatment. The lorry driver is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol and driving on the wrong side of the road. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
