BRS MLAs Demand Restart of Kannepalli Pump House for Hyderabad Water Needs

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs have demanded the immediate restart of the Kannepalli pump house in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district to address a potential drinking water crisis in Hyderabad. A delegation visited the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project site, warning of protests if the Congress government fails to act. They allege that significant amounts of Godavari water are being allowed to flow into the sea instead of being utilized for the city.

भारत राष्ट्र समिति (बीआरएस) के विधायकों ने हैदराबाद में पीने के पानी के संभावित संकट को दूर करने के लिए जयशंकर भूपलपल्ली जिले में कन्नेपल्ली पंप हाउस को तुरंत फिर से चालू करने की मांग की है। एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने कालेश्वरम लिफ्ट सिंचाई परियोजना स्थल का दौरा किया और चेतावनी दी कि अगर कांग्रेस सरकार कार्रवाई करने में विफल रही तो विरोध प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा। उनका आरोप है कि शहर के लिए उपयोग किए जाने के बजाय गोदावरी के महत्वपूर्ण पानी को समुद्र में बहने दिया जा रहा है।
