Rare Toad Returns After 65 Years At Springs

A rare Woodhouse's toad has been spotted at Las Vegas' Springs Preserve, marking its first confirmed return in nearly 65 years. The male toad was recorded making a mating call in the restored wetland. This sighting is significant as it is the first confirmed return of the species since the original springs dried up around 1962.

लास वेगास के स्प्रिंग्स प्रिजर्व में एक दुर्लभ वुडहाउस टोड (Woodhouse's toad) देखा गया है। यह लगभग 65 सालों में इस प्रजाति की पहली पक्की वापसी है। नर टोड को बहाल किए गए आर्द्रभूमि में प्रजनन की आवाज निकालते हुए रिकॉर्ड किया गया। यह बहुत खास बात है क्योंकि 1962 के आसपास मूल झरने सूखने के बाद से यह पहली बार है जब इस प्रजाति को वापस देखा गया है।
