The Saudi-led coalition announced on Saturday, October 10, 2026, that it had destroyed 136 military targets in a large-scale operation against the Iran-backed Houthi group in Yemen. Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki stated the operation targeted the personnel and capabilities of the Houthi militia. This action comes as the conflict, which reignited in July, has seen the Houthis seize territory along the Red Sea coast and launch attacks within Saudi Arabia. The coalition aims to counter the Houthi militia's growing influence and military actions.
